Where is the SVGA?
The SVGA is kindly hosted by the University of the West of Scotland (UWS).
The University has 4 campuses, in Paisley, Hamilton, Ayr, and Dumfries. Our archive is a special collection of the Hamilton campus library.
UWS is well known for being one of only 2 institutions in Scotland offering a Skillset accredited degree in Computer Games Technology. It now also offers a Computer Games Development degree as well. The SVGA is organised by students, alumni, and staff from these courses.
Can I visit the archive?
At the moment we are still in the early stages of organising and cataloguing everything. As such, we cannot allow visitors into the archive yet. However, we hope to make visits possible by special arrangement in future.
